I have a really cool memory of making Thanksgiving turkey. I remember how I was making a turkey craft last year and unfortunately the lights went out. And, a bottle of brown water color fell on my white construction paper. Making a huge mess.
Well who knew that it was that brown paper which would be the body of my turkey for my next day’s craft? Funny huh?
Supplies needed for Handprint Turkey Craft
- Toilet paper Roll
- Googly Eyes
- Construction paper – Orange, Yellow, Brown, Green, Purple and Pink
- Scissors
- Glue
How to make Handprint Turkey for Thanksgiving day
Step 1: Wrap an unused toilet paper roll with brown construction paper.
Step 2: Stick two googly eyes and stick a triangular nose that you cut out from Orange construction paper
Step 3: Trace out hands on various four colourful construction paper. Use a pencil to trace hands. Now use a scissor to cut out those hands.
Step 4: Stick these hands behind the toilet paper roll
And you have a beautiful Thanksgiving Turkey craft ready. What could be better than this cute little Thanksgiving craft. I am sure nothing.
